NO OUTPUT CAKEWALK HOME STUDIO 2002 SOFTWARE

ive posted on other boards and i get no clear and direct answer. 1 Yes I know its am old piece of software but up until 15 minutes ago was working perfectly. once i got past the direct x issue i run in to the midi brick wall. I might as well get me a flat panel screen a bare bone and build a laptop from scratch, might have a power problemb but at least it will have everything needed for normal operation Please excuse the rambling but im tired of being taken to the cleaners and my shirts come back with starch on the right sleeve and new stains on the right. This shows me dell has no stability in is own homebase. 2 lattitude's 1 optiplex and finally the inspiron 1100Īll 4 have built in sound cards and all 4 are from different a manufacture.

every extra external piece that i have to add turns my portable in to a desktop. Is dell and sigmatel doubling there money at our expense by leaving out important internal devices such as gameports, midi, and high end graphic cards, With the money we shell out to satisfy or wants and needs snd still come up short somewhere in the short run forget about the long run. I spent 2k plus on my 1100 and am honestly beginning to believe that dell left me with egg on my face. ive posted on other boards and i get no clear and direct answer.Īll i want to know is Will this midi and microphone issue Be solved or do i have to keep spending money on equipment that should have come oem standard! Windows audio recorder works fine (recording and playing), as does the MIDI out to an external box I use. I have gone through the CW instructions several times and believe I have followed them to the letter.

NO OUTPUT CAKEWALK HOME STUDIO 2002 DRIVER

I have tried removing the "AUD.INI and TTSSEQ" files from the Cakewalk folder, as another poster suggests - this does not resolve the problem (but does prevent the driver error message from popping up, as the poster suggested). SigmaTel is selected in the "Options | Audio" and the "wave profiler" runs successfully. Problem: when I open an audio track in Cakewalk the program gives me no dropdown options for "In" and for "Out." "In" is stuck at "none" and "Out" is stuck at "A()" Also (related, I assume) it will not allow me to select the "record" option on any audio track. My audio driver is the SigmaTel, and I have downloaded / installed the latest version from the Dell website.
